Working by Email and by Phone

I now offer an email and phone therapy and coaching service to those clients who prefer to work in this way, such as those for whom regular, face-to-face meetings are difficult to manage.

Email

My email service works in two ways, either, a) a real-time exchange of emails where we both agree a time to meet and sit down at our computers during this period (50 mins) and swap emails or, b) a delayed-time correspondence where we meet for a session over, say, a week period and I spend 50 minutes during this time reading and responding to emails (as do you!).  I have a set of guidelines for my email service which is subject to my normal contracting and fee arrangements. I am happy to work using email in tandem with other mechanisms, such monthly face-to-face meetings. Indeed, I have found this kind of combination the most successful method of working using email technology.

Telephone

I am also now able to offer therapy and coaching services by telephone. This service operates in the same way as a regular session in that we we agree a day and a time to meet and do so by telephone. I have found this a very effective way of working, and have increasing numbers of clients choosing to work by phone. What I generally ask you to do is to email or send me copies of any tasks we had agreed you would undertake (e.g. an anxiety diary) before the session, so I can see where we are if we are not meeting face to face.
