Working with Employers

I am very accustomed to working with organisations and businesses in offering therapeutic and coaching services to valued members of staff.  This type of work is organised slightly differently my therapy and coaching services for self-paying clients. and described below.

Initial Session

I will undertake an initial session (often called an assessment) with a client on behalf of an organisation or business, and recommend to both parties my views on what may be helpful in terms of therapy or coaching. This recommendation will be offered in the form of a brief report. An initial session (including report) is charged as 2 sessions.

Contract

Should some further sessions be required, I will agree with the organisation/employer the number that will be funded (I generally recommend a minimum of 8), assuming the client is happy to continue. I will send a copy of my contract to both client and organisation/employer, spelling out all the basic terms of our agreement.  The client is free to withdraw at any time by informing me directly. Should a client not attend more than one session without contact, I will inform the funding organisation/employer.

Confidentiality

I am obliged to maintain client confidentiality at all times and will not work in a way that requires me to discuss the content of my work with any client to an organisation/employer. The principle of confidentiality is essential in making clients feel able to use therapy and coaching as they need to.
